Local Buy Preferred Supplier
TactiCall is a Local Buy- Recruitment Services (BUS 234-0113) Panel Supplier for temporary staff.
What does this mean?
TactiCall has already been assessed as a suitable supplier for these services which will save employers time and money who engage via the Local Buy arrangements:
The Local Government Regulation 2012 stipulates certain requirements of Councils when entering into contracts:
Large contracts: the need to tender when goods or services are procured for $200,000 or more (amended Dec 2012)
Medium contracts: the need to seek three written quotations when entering into contracts between $15,000 and $200,000 (amended Dec 2012)
Exception: A local government may enter into a contract without first inviting written quotes/tenders, if the contract is entered into under a Local Government Association (LGA) Arrangement – ie Local Buy panels
All Queensland Local Government Authorities can purchase without tendering or requesting multiple quotes, when engaging Local Buy suppliers. More information on the Local Government Act 2009 and Local Government Regulation 2012 can be found on the Local Buy website.
