Our client a State Government Department is seeking a Rent Collection Officer. The primary purpose of the role will see you responsible for providing property administrative and operational support to assist with data integrity in the Accommodation Office property and finance database (iSPACE) and management of outstanding financial payments.
You will be the primary liaison, administrating outstanding debt engaging with corporate finance, other internal stakeholders, private sector companies and their legal representatives.
The Role Involves but is not limited to:
- Assisting with the delivery of leasing project and the provision of office accommodation?
- Analyse property and financial data to facilitate strategic management of the Property Management Groups portfolio of leased and owned properties providing advice and recommendations to Lease Managers on appropriate action.
- Actively manage property debt and support the property administration function as the primary liaison on debt recovery.
- Ensure data integrity by providing property reports, direction to other staff relating to their individual property portfolios and update data in the iSpace to ensure consistency of data.
- Support the development and maintenance of property portfolio reports, systems, processes and procedures within the accommodation office property and finance database system (iSPACE).
- Establish and maintain effective networks and collaborative approaches that provide quality client service and information to agencies on their current financial commitments.
- Coordinate and manage the distribution of internal aged debt reports to individual Lease Managers and Property Managers for further action as required.
- Provide support in the preparation of annual property budgets and monthly variance reporting.
- Provide reports and recommendations on status of debt management and data integrity in the iSpace system.
- Locate and supply updated information to Finance Team for accurate tenant contact details.
