- A05 Senior Education and Events Officer
- State Government Statutory Authority
- ASAP start for 3 months with potential for extension
- $62.67p/hour + super
- Brisbane City Fringe – West End
To be a part of their team, you’ll need:
- Significant experience and proven ability in events management and promotion.
- Experience in developing and utilising marketing and communication materials displaying strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- High level verbal and written communication skills with the ability to establish and build relationships with key stakeholders.
- To be willing to travel and be flexible with business needs. This position requires travel to regional areas and work out of normal business hours.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of the preparation and delivery of events.
- Program and strategy.
- Supervise and coordinate employee events.
- Administer and report monthly on the events budget and activities and maintain the events calendar.
- Identify, liaise, and negotiate with potential private and public sector partners for their involvement
- Develop systems to ensure the effective management of events, conferences, workshops, expos, and education programs in alignment with relevant strategies and business plans.
- Research and implement best practice event solutions.
- Monday – Friday work with flexibility required across working ours and regional travel.
