Their Contact Centre is made up of a variety of teams, including direct customer contact roles as well as support functions.

As a Customer Operations Officer you will deliver quality customer service to customers and stakeholders across Queensland. This role will expand your knowledge of EQL distribution business and connect you with diverse stakeholders.

Your daily activities will include responding to customer enquiries via multi-channel communication methods, scheduling and coordinating market service orders in preparation for dispatching to the field.

  • The ability to develop and maintain professional customer relationships and effectively manage customer conflict to achieve quality outcomes.  
  • You have experience working with sensitive information and hold yourself accountable in maintaining confidential information in a discreet and professional manner.
  • You thrive working in a fast-paced environment and you’re well known for your ability to manage and prioritise multiple requests effectively and consistently.
  • Additionally, you hold a Certificate IV in Customer Contact, Business, Management, or you have demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment handling multi-channel communication platforms.
  • You are available for ad hoc overtime and have the ability to participate on a standby roster to support business continuity, including during storm season and large-scale disasters.

The Contact Centre is located in Brisbane; core business hours are 7:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday. You will work 40hrs per week with the flexibility required to work additional paid ‘on call’ shifts. Individual rosters will rotate within these hours.  

The start date is Monday 3rd June, and the positions will be a 2-year fixed term contract.
